About us
The activities of Krajinou přílivu consist of original theatrical productions, as well as art exhibitions, and offering artist residencies. Furthermore, we co-produce theatrical, musical, and art projects/shows. Even though our calendar is currently packed with events and collaborations, we want to open our space to new people and projects. If you are interested in working with us, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We would like to show that even small or individual initiatives carry some weight and can contribute to the betterment of our shared surroundings.
Programming
In 2026 we are focusing on working with the local community. Through our programming - theatrical productions, artist residencies and exhibitions we will look at the space as a network of relations and search for its limits.
Our program is intended for the wider public interested in contemporary theatre and art, as well as for people, for whom active participation in culture is inaccessible - houseless individuals (through the artist residency of Savka Marenić), or children from youth detention centres (in Parsifalové.) We view education as a core value and, hence, a significant part of our programming is intended for schools and youth audiences.

About our society
Krajinou přílivu is a society originating in an independent initiative of Johanka Hořejší, Simeon Hudec, and Zdeněk Kříž, formed in 2014.
Its initial project dealt with the topic of postindustrial spaces. In the following years the initiative organised social and art-related events. Since then Krajinou přílivu has organised educational exhibitions, exhibitions of photography, sculpture, film projections, and discussions with specialists and the wider public. Since 2018 we are based in the specific space of the Palmovka Synagogue.
